Atty. Barış DURNA, the founding partner of the Alanya Law Office, was born in Alanya and fulfilled his secondary education at Hasan Çolak Anatolian High School. He started to study at Ankara University Faculty of Law in 2014 and graduated in 2018 with honours degree. In the same year, he started his masters with thesis degree in Private Law at Ankara University. He continious his thesis research on "Contractor's Liabilities in Construction Agreements in Return For Land Share".
Durna had an active student period during his university years. He got the right to be an exchange student in his second year at the college and he took courses in the fields of International Law and European Law at Utrecht University for a year. During that period he also worked as an intern in a corporate law firm in Amsterdam. In this way he has gained experience on International Private Law and it's implementations; especially on Arbitration, Insurance and Aviation Law.
Durna, whose project was awarded at the Social Entrepreneurship Workshop organized in partnership with Ankara Development Agency and the European Union in 2017 was selected as a young entrepreneur. Therefore he had a chance to work on Patent Law in a renewable energy company in London for 3 months.
He completed his legal internship at Ankara Bar Association then he was enrolled at Antalya Bar Association. Durna especially works on Real Estate Law, Commercial Law, Family Law and Criminal Law. He speaks English fluently thaks to his Academic English Preparatory Education at Boğaziçi University. He also speaks French intermediately by means of the courses he took at Galatasaray University.
